WINGFLATION: FIBA Festivities

I think that we've had two really interesting games to talk about with FIBA, with obviously Paige Beckers playing for Team USA for the first time on the senior team.

starting with the game Friday at China.

I woke up early to watch that game at 7.15, watch it live.

I know you watched it as well a little later on.

Maybe we start with that.

We talk about the China game, which was significantly more entertaining from a fan standpoint, right? Well,

I mean, at least for the American fans, yeah, it was a good old-fashioned beatdown, I must say, especially in the second half.

It was fun to watch a lot of our favorite players really get off.

The Chinese team's defense didn't really have, they were able to wall off the paint pretty well, but if you pulled any of that bigs anywhere, even past like the free throw line, it was kind of free eats and

that

guards weren't really offering a whole lot of resistance on the perimeter.

So Ryan was just shooting over people.

Paige was just shooting over people.

Caitlin was shooting over people.

It didn't really matter what kind of resistance they put up around the three-point line.

But yeah, no, Paige was great.

Ryan was great.

All the young players were awesome.

The vets looked better, certainly, in the first game than they did in the one that we just saw today.

We'll

get there.

Yeah.

The Aces players especially, they've been pretty good all tournament so far.

But yeah, that subgroup with, what's the five? It's Kaitlyn, Paige, Ryan, Angel, AB.

That, man, I don't know what you do against that group.
