I also, back in season one, refused to use Final Draft, which is the industry scriptwriting program of choice.

I used a Microsoft Word template that was developed at Disney, which was far superior to Final Draft.

And Microsoft Word had advanced to a point where the template stopped fully functioning.

And eventually, I think between season two and season three, even I had to abandon that template because it just no longer functioned.

It was a buggy program when it started, and they kept adding all these features, things that 90% of the human race don't need in writing a script.

They keep adding all the buzzes and whistles without ever fixing the inherent bugginess of the program.

And the only saving grace, and the one thing I will admit that Final Draft is good on, is that it saves... automatically every couple minutes so when it crashes which it will you've lost at most two minutes worth of work and you can go back and you can go back to a version from eight weeks ago if you want it just continues to save all these versions and that is the reason why everyone sort of switched over to final draft but in terms of actually writing on it It's been a disaster.

And I've been using it consistently now for over a decade, but it's still a disaster.
