mean, we talk about food trends and health trends and I mean, gut health has obviously been something that's been important for years, but there really seems to be a lot of energy around it right now and conversations amongst friends, family around prioritizing gut health.

Why do you think there's been so much chatter about it and so much intention around the conversations happening with it?
because I think there's a lot more research now on it than there was 20 years ago.
I mean, there was always research on how the gut might be involved in health and disease, but even different levels of microbes in different psychiatric conditions, for example, or different autoimmune conditions.
I think now it's got people thinking, actually how are we going to beneficially impact our gut to reduce our risk of these diseases developing or help once we do have these diseases? And I think specifically in mental health, there's a lot coming out now with the gut and will certain probiotics be good? And it's fascinating.
Like here's your script for lactobacillus rhamnosus off you go, but we could get there.

But I mean, I think that's the big question is what does good gut health look like then? I mean, so much of it sounds very scientific and there's, you know, a lot of terminology there, but how would you in like a layman's term say, you know, what's good gut health?
So I would say my preference is you want to be having one bowel movement a day, at least.
Well, drinking enough water is number one because so many people go to work, they don't drink anything throughout the day.
I mean, I think that we're told to have 30 grams of fiber, which is quite a lot actually during the day.
There are many people with inflammatory bowel conditions or certain types of irritable bowel syndrome that actually eating 30 grams of fiber might not be right for them.
You have to look at yourself and go, right, I need to have at least eight glasses of water per day.
And I am gonna be, as much as I can, in lunch and dinner, let's say, half my plate is gonna be veggies.
