Clara HermitHostYeah.

Thank you to Dr. James Hopkisson joining us on the show to talk about fertility.

I probably have about another 10,000 questions now that we've finished the conversation.

But I'm sure we will be talking more about fertility in the future as well, because it's one of those ones where the conversation doesn't end.

And don't forget, if you want to submit a listener question, you can go over to Instagram at What The Health Show.

And yeah, you can drop us a question in the DMs and we will do our very best to answer those questions here on the show.

Someone has asked me how I deal with nerves and feeling anxious before something big.

And it's because I think that there is this misconception sometimes that some of us Thank you so much for having me.

Because, you know, if we weren't feeling anxious about it, if we weren't feeling nervous about it, then it probably wouldn't be that important to us.

Number one for me is if I'm feeling anxious and nervous, I will make sure that I am expressing that verbally to people, that I'm letting people know this is how I feel, because I find that Part of the issue with feeling anxious or nervous is that we feel isolated in that feeling.

And I find as soon as I start to share it with the people around me and I can discuss it and I can verbalize it and I can get that energy out of my head.

I find that really helpful and that starts to lessen the feelings of nerves and anxiousness for me.

Another thing to try is something like a breathing exercise, like box breathing, something like that can be really useful.

Even kind of doing something a little bit more somatic, I suppose, kind of like shaking your arms around, just getting the energy out of your body.

But I think also having a positive internal dialogue can be really helpful as well.
