It's expressing dissatisfaction with something, right? And although in some instances it can be useful to complain, most of the time...
And we're going to go into all of that, right? But I know that that's something that growing up, I used to hear my parents say a lot, like, Zama, don't complain.
But I think the older you get, the more you realize how much of a bad habit it can actually be, how much of a really...
Not a great trait, essentially, it is to have because you also don't even recognize when you're doing it.
Sometimes you can do it so much that you don't even recognize when you're just kind of bringing everything down, everything around you down, you know, with you.
So let's speak about why do we complain, right? I think it definitely starts from childhood where you were used to understanding that if you throw a tantrum, you were going to be responded to, right? Like if you're out there just whining, screaming, crying about something, whatever it is, adults will come to your rescue.
Like I know when my nieces and nephews were young, if they're screaming and crying over something, it's like, oh, just give it to them.
You know, I remember when my mom would be like, someone just give them the sweets or just give it like, it's like a, you know, and when you learn that kind of behavior as a child, that like, if I make a noise about something, if I whine about something, I'm going to get what I want.
You're going to keep thinking that it's okay to do that as an adult, you know? And it's not a, I don't think it's a good trait to have, you know, because you're not a child anymore.
It doesn't look as adorable anymore when you're whining and all of that kind of stuff.
In fact, it's kind of disturbing to see you whining and complaining and all of that kind of stuff.
And I think it is a learned behavior from our childhood is that you were responded to you know look at the child there you know it's just that like guys come on they're just a child she's just a child like this and that and um it's just not as cute anymore um another reason why we might feel the need to just always complain is that we feel miserable you know you ever been Just depressed, just sad, just angry, just down or whatever.
