You know, looking at that game is an interesting one because you guys win set one close, then fall in set two, win set three, fall in set four, and then win in set five as well.
We kind of joked as well, the girls like to put on a show for the home crowd.
We like to go five sets when we're at home and give the crowd their money's worth, it seems.
And so what was it about that Glidden-Ralston match that the girls were able to battle in that one and kind of be able to pull it out in the fifth?
Yeah, so we'd seen Glidden a couple times already this year at some preseason stuff or some early tournaments, and so we knew they were going to be tough.
They're pretty solid all the way around, and so we knew that we had a chance at winning it.
Going in, we were pretty optimistic that And if we're playing our best, we definitely had a shot to be in it.
And then, you know, is that something that you feel like the girls are really strong at, is, you know, staying kind of in those matches and being able to be resilient? Because you did kind of the same thing with Booyah Valley last night, being able to pull out that win.
There's a couple moments in both games that we, you know, lost momentum for a little bit and really had to struggle to get our mindset back and get back into it.
We gave, you know, upruns of five points or so, and And that's really tough to overcome when, you know, we're kind of evenly matched teams.
And so we did a good job of staying in it even when those things happen, refocusing to the next point, getting out of it and coming back and, you know, being consistent, making serves, doing things well, and getting out of that rotation if we needed to.
