um so one thing i wanted to do here uh is that we had a little bit of an audio glitch when we first started uh streaming and i had a little bit of a like why why am i picking this particular adventure and since i got blanked out i had one or two questions on on my blue sky actually like i'm surprised you picked that particular adventure so let me just go through my my six bullets of why the the cosmos was telling me to run this particular Lost Caverns of Sajkenth adventure here in 2026.

And that same summer, someone put up a round-robin polling for the best ever first edition adventure.

Beat out the Giants, beat out two Mahars, beat out the A Series, beat out the U Series.

Came out the number one most favored adventure from that particular old school survey.

Right? Number three, it's one of the very few instances where we have the actual tournament text to study.

And for me personally, it's the only instance that I know where we actually have not just like some description of what the tournament was like, we have the actual original of tournament text.

Between the tournament in 76 and the first edition publication in 1982, it's really a fascinating case study in the presentation.

Aside from that, it's a fascinating case study in the presentation styles of how adventures got published.

There's a more polished up kind of middle ground evolving advanced D&D version of 82.
