Dan CollinsHost
Paul SiegelHost
How much of the population d- isn't aware that this is a thing, that you had unique titles for every character class level in early D&D.
Throw up the, throw up the one from original D&D in case people don't know what we're talking about.
So there's the, uh, the first, uh, printing of original D&D with the, uh, first-ever appearance of character classes and, and levels.
[laughs] So in, in the absence of numbers, which, which Paul and I are mutually agreed about, they o- they only had titles.
They're veteran, warrior, swordsman, hero for fourth, swashbuckler, myrmidon, champion, superhero, and then lord at ninth, and then different, different titles, uh, for your other classes there.
If you started in D&D from Second Edition or later, you never saw this, because they were gone as of Second Edition.
