Building a One-on-One Adventure Live! | Dungeon Design Dash #9 | Wandering DMs S08 E25

Okay, so I've got a bunch of stuff set up here.

Let's begin with a look at the map, shall we? Let me get that up on screen for you all.

Now, I put this map together.

This is a map originally by Dyson Logos, who is very kind in creating beautiful maps that he releases for commercial use so that we can use them in cases like this because these do go up on our drive-thru when they're done.

So thank you, Mr.

Logos.

Thank you so much.

Wonderful maps as always.

This one's actually been modified by me a little bit.

If you find the original copy of this map, there are a bunch more rooms on the left side that I have edited out to try and get the room count down to something reasonable to do in an hour.

Usually I'm targeting like 10 rooms, plus or minus one or two rooms.

This one's 14, which is a lot because I guess I am a masochist and wanted even more work for myself.

So we got a lot of rooms to get through today.

Also cut from the map, the original map did show the outdoors a little bit more.

There's a big lake with the little stream rivulet running into the opening at Area 1 here.

And then I just remove just to make it look a little bit bigger on the page.

But we can still assume there's a lake out there that is feeding this little stream coming into the space.

And then let's just quickly review this map because I've been staring at it for a while.

So I already have ideas percolating in my head.

But just to get everyone up to speed with me.

Basically, it's in classic Dyson logo style.

You've got the upsie downsie.

You've got kind of two levels going on here.

That is kind of drawn as one level.

Rooms one through eight are all kind of on the first level on the ground level.
