I was gonna say place these places on the map, but that's too many places, right? So when I talk about the Loire Valley, it's kind of a broad geographical area.
But if you were to google Loire Valley, you'll probably come up with a little something, and what you will mostly see is the Loire River.
So it, it kinda goes all the way from Nantes or Nantes, N-A-N-T-E-S. I'm going to be spelling a lot of these because I know that I'm not going to 100% pronounce them in French because my French is terrible.
But that would be the far western kind of main kind of city or large town, I guess.
Then you see Angers, Saumur, which is actually kind of a smaller town, Tours, Blois, B-L-O- B-L-O-I-S, and then Orleans to the east.
So if you kind of follow that, that's the, that's the Loire River, and that sort of general area around there is kind of theThe Vallée de la Loire.
It's kind of in the regions of the Pays de la Loire and the Centre-Val de Loire.
They kind of refer to it as the cradle of the F- French and the garden of France due to the abundance of vineyards, fruit orchards, such as cherries, and artichoke and asparagus fields, which line the banks of the river.
So there's a lot of beautiful historic towns here, um, beautiful architecture, very much known for the wines and for the châteaux or castles.
Um, you know, plus I was like, "Oh, it just looks like a, just a really nice place where there'd be, you know, a lot of quaint little towns and villages, and just a place to kind of like get out into the rural landscape a little bit," which is always kind of my jam.
So those are kind of a lot of things to, to do in the area, is to visit the château, to visit the vineyards.
You have the Loire River, which you can actually get out on, and then there are some tributaries, kind of some smaller rivers, like the Indre and the Cher, that you can also get out onto.
