From ABC News, Wall Street now.

Stocks fell under the weight of rising crude oil prices, which shot back up above $100 a barrel.

The Dow lost 405 points.

The S&P slid 37.

The Nasdaq dropped 168.

Retailers were among the companies leading the markets lower, while oil companies pushed higher.

Shares of Meta Platforms rose 6% after the parent company of Instagram and Facebook launched a personal artificial intelligence agent, Muse, for those 18 and over.

Apple stock barely moved after unveiling its latest generation of iPhones at the company's Cupertino, California headquarters that included the widely anticipated foldable phone called Duo.

A group of former Amazon warehouse employees has filed suit against the company, claiming systematic discrimination against pregnant workers.

Amazon denying the accusations, saying the lawsuit's description of events is inaccurate.

Airlines are trying to dig out from UK air traffic control troubles that led to the cancellation of 2,000 flights Tuesday.
