Yvonne shares the details of some of her five near death experiences (NDE), including her most recent one in 2003 where a traumatic brain injury brought her consciousness completely out of her body. During the interview, Yvonne relates how each NDE brought with it different upgrades in her spiritual awareness. This time, she deeply focuses on her “dark night of the soul” experience immediately following her traumatic brain injury. Her healing of that experience led her to write three books. So just real quick, her background is she's the president and founder of Spiritual Awakenings International.

She's a family physician, a transpersonal MD, psychotherapist.

She's retired in that capacity.

And she was previously on the faculty at the University of Toronto.

She's an internationally renowned medical expert on near-death experiences, of which she's had five recently.

She is also helps with Kundalini awakenings and and a term that she.

coined back in the 70s, spiritually transformative experiences, or shortened, we call them STEs.

She's got 40 years of experiences of her own STEs and counseling people on NDEs and STEs and helping them make sense of it.

This all began earlier in her life, but it really kind of came to a head in 1979 when she experienced a plane crash and near death experience, which she may go over here a little bit later today.
