And you're actually out there trying to get work, and for some reason, you're just not getting any work.
And so I want to talk about some of the reasons that you probably haven't thought of, and it's probably one of the big reasons you're not getting any work.

We have all changed the way We interact with our phone based on the fact that, let's face it, there's so much spam out there.
There's so many junk calls out there.
And so we've all kind of changed the way we interact.
And that's fine.
Listen, we all know, like, if I call you and I'm not in your contact list, as a producer, someone who hires voice actors, I assume that I'm going to go to voicemail.
And that's fine.
I'm going to leave a message.
I'll let you know why I'm calling.
And then I'm expecting you to call me back.
If you would like that job, I'll give you a certain window of my mind.
So I'm not going to wait longer than a day for you to call me back, most likely.
I would assume you'd call me back same day.
But again, I'm going to give you some time to call me back.
