So Pearson leaving, I think it's a loss for Grimsby Town.

He's a very well-liked, genuinely well-liked guy in the community.

I genuinely do see him around Cleethorpes quite a lot.

Nobody has a bad word to say against the guy.

And he's been integral in what Artel is doing with the club.

So he's a loss.

The rumour is Lincoln, isn't it? But if he is going to Lincoln, that's a jump of two divisions.

which suggests he's obviously doing something really, really good.

And it's a really positive thing that people want our staff, our players and all that.

So I don't know a lot about the new guy.

I've read his Wikipedia like everybody else.

It's very impressive.

He went to school with Steven Gerrard, which might explain how he got some of the jobs he got.

If you track their careers closely, they do align.

And also working at a high level doesn't always translate into being fantastic at a lower level as well.

So, you know, like Sven-Goran Eriksson didn't do great at North County.

That's the only example I can think of off the top of my head.

Like if you used to work with elite players, sometimes that can be difficult to translate into the blood and thunder of League Two.

So on paper, it looks like an absolutely fantastic replacement, but I wouldn't like to predict anything because, like I say, I didn't know a lot about the guy until I read his Wikipedia today.
