Karen RobinsonGuestDan DennisHostSo I think it ties really well into what I'm doing at the moment when we're talking about growth and expanding because a bit of value that I want to give back to the audience today is talking about how do you hire your first employee, what are the best practices and sort of what are the key takeaways to know before you sort of take that next step.
So to give you a little bit of background and to give my audience a background, because this is all new, fresh off of the press information.
But I wanted to know a little bit more, you know, what are the best ways to sort of help a first employee, nurture that employee, make sure that he doesn't turn around and leave after a month effectively.
But also, what are sort of the fundamentals of hiring an employee? What are sort of like the technical documents? What is like from a legal standpoint, what are the best things to do? So probably lots to cover today.
But any information that you can share with me and the audience, we're completely welcome for.

you know you want to make sure that you know exactly what skill set you're looking for what experience you're looking for i would say be mindful of what you can also teach um because sometimes i know you often see job adverts that say you've got to have x y and z you must have this you have to have that That's really narrowing things down.

And what you want to think as well, and going back to your point about getting them to stay as long as possible, people want to be challenged at work.
