What does it take to build a company culture people actually feel when every single person works from home? 🎙️ In this episode, Kristi Skutvik sits down with Jasmine Wilson, Founder and CEO of Moxie…
How I would define a vibe in general is just a feeling, whether that's good or bad, and that it basically... for me is a room or a place that you walk into and it just has some type of energy.
I would say our vibe is very, because we've all been working together for so long outside of Moxie.
And so it's, it's human, it's friendship, it's, peer to peer, colleague to colleague, friend to friend.
And I always bring this up because it's such an interesting group and such a pinch me moment every time I think about it.
But like I said, everybody that I've brought into this company That is currently either an employee or subcontracting for Moxie has generally been someone that I've worked with like professionally in the last 20 years or has been a referral from one of my colleagues.
it really is a unique group of people within Moxie because it's all, it's curated.
So it's a really great vibe in general because we feed off each other and it's a friendly vibe.
human, right? Like I said on your last town hall and yeah, there was like a humanness to the conversation, even though you were talking about things like the FDA and all these other things that are like heavily regulated and highly controlled, there was a human element like woven in throughout.
So, but you bring up a good point that I want to talk about is like this curated team that you have brought in over the years.
from working with them or working with people who worked with them over the last 20 years.
And I think that's a really important, important point because one, your team is mostly remote.
And so creating that energy and that vibe, in my opinion, is like a hundred times harder.
