-What programs, fads, exercises or events perhaps acted as a gateway for people to try CrossFit? \-Pat & Adrian discuss this topic.
I think it's one of the best fitness podcasts out there, and I love digging through the archives as well.
I'm a guy who's been lifting weights and doing some cardio before I started to do high rocks races.
And I enjoyed your episode on High Rocks, preparing for these races with general strength training, deadlifts, squats, rows, etc., and then loads of running, as I feel that's great.
I found that High Rocks is more a gateway race to force me to focus on my overall health so I can get better at High Rocks.
What are some previous fads or exercises that you found weren't great, races or exercises, fads, classes, whatever it was, it wasn't great, but it helped introduce a population into the gym slash local box that otherwise might have been scared or unmotivated to go.
