God forbid you get something critical wrong, then AI can be incredibly destructive.
There is a lot of excitement and enthusiasm about what's possible, but not a lot of trust in the system.
I had a 15-year finance career, so me trusting AI and hallucinations, and I get all of that.
I think within finance, the easiest place to start is have it review your work.
Would you fire that person on day one if you gave them crap instructions and they gave you crap output? Absolutely not.
What are some areas within finance, and maybe at large, that you think humans still need to stay firmly in the loop?
Own the output and be accountable for the output, and be able to speak to the output as if it's your own.
Otherwise, like AI slop is introduced into the system, and then you personally kind of lose trust of your stakeholders.
