Up All Night with Tony Cantwell

Well, I tell you Shane, there was no John Cena movie on the go last night.

I tell you, you know, there wasn't, was there? My eyes were glued.

Brazil and Japan started off an incredible night of football.

Talk to me about Brazil and Japan.

I just thought Japan were great in the first half.

And I did, I have to be honest, I jumped around listening to what was being said at... halftime you probably shouldn't say that but I had a bit of I had a bit of Kevin Doyle and I switched over I had a bit of Roy and I had a bit of this now

He went, do you want to go home? Do you want to go home? Hang on a second now.

Every single one of them.

And they kind of went, no, I don't.

Because they had 80% of the possession in the first half.

But I thought Japan were really good off the ball.

I liked watching them.

They were about six foot away from them at every stage.

And then they just, there was a lot of pressing going on.

And it's like when you go to see a game in a stadium for the first time, you're kind of watching what people are doing off the ball.

And I was kind of watching a bit more of that.

Now, that being said, that kind of later on in the German stages, when Germany were doing a bit of pressing, it didn't pay off for them.

I found that very interesting as well.
