Raonaid Murray - Part 2

In early September 1999, 17-year-old Rainey Murray had a job at a clothes boutique in Dun Laoghaire, a large circle of friends, and was the baby of a close family of five.

She hoped to study arts at UCD and maybe become a writer someday.

Rainey had left her friends at a crowded bar in Dun Laoghaire at 11:24 PM to go home and change.

The plan was to head on to a nightclub, but she never got home or back to her friends.

Within an hour, Rainey Murray was dead.

Rainey's family have never stopped looking for justice.

The Gardaí used every asset at their disposal, but despite huge efforts to find Rainey's killer, her murder is unsolved.

In part one, we heard all about Rainey, her plans for the future, and her busy, lively final day and final evening on September 3rd, 1999.

In part two, we'll hear about what happened next, an entire country coming together to look for justice for a girl from Glenageary.
