What and why did Homemade San Diego decide to adopt the Works program? And what needs were you seeing in the community at that time four years ago?
And I think one of the key things that Lennar was looking at for this program, Lennar's also been involved I th- I believe with Homemade America, was how can Lennar lean in and be a true strategic partner to help take and essentially bring to fruition the Works program in San Diego County.
I did a whole career in the Marine Corps and have done teaching out in the community, so that's probably where the passion part came from, Scott, that you saw in me, was from my-
... time and seeing how education truly can be a differentiator when we're trying to help individuals get into stable employment and jobs.
Well, we're gonna dive into that a little bit more as we, as we talk, 'cause what stands out to me is that so many individuals want to work but face real barriers, and you probably saw that in your military career and in the work that you've done since then.
In, in the Works program, from a national perspective, was really designed to bridge that gap.
