Unhooked: Reclaiming your Compass to Awareness
Oct 3, 2026 · 13 min · 5 segments
We enter the last third part of the course. In this episode we start getting comfortable with integrating these small meditations, glimpses or awareness exercises - call it as you may - into our day…

We're shifting our attention from the mental conceptual world, full of words and stories, into the very concrete, experiential, [clears throat] direct experience of the here and now.
As you can probably become aware of, staying with open eyes, we will notice that there is so much more information coming to us through our visual field.
This is why when we train, when we learn to work on our awareness, we normally do it with eyes closed because it's easier.
At the same time, I want to remind us that the reason why we're training this is not to learn to stay with ourselves when we're alone in a very peaceful state or in a very aware state.
But actually, we're learning to do this in our day-to-day life.
Eventually, we will be applying this when we're in the middle of a meeting, in a discussion with our partners, in interaction when we are going for a walk or when we're going shopping with other people.
The idea is to be able to do this in the here and now.
This is why we are also practicing, and I invite you to keep on practicing every single day.
