Unhooked: Reclaiming your Compass to Awareness
Oct 1, 2026 · 15 min · 6 segments
In the episodes 17-18-19, we will be focusing on how to be with and manage difficult emotions. In this episode we focus on learning to "nurture" the emotion that is angry, sad, scared, insecure…
No entities detected.
And as usual, we shift the focus of our attention to the experiential realm, to the living experience of the here and now by increasing the volume to our breaths and to the felt experience of breathing from beginning to end.
As we are very aware of our breaths, we also become aware of each and every body sensation from head to toe.
Obvi- as if it was the very first time we're actually sensing every physical sensation from within the body.
Notice how the focus of the attention is moving from a felt sense in the head towards a maybe non-localized place.
There is no center of attention.
The attention is happening everywhere all the time without the need of anyone to control or lead anything.
It's kind of like a feeling of taking a step back and letting life be.
Removing myself, removing the I, and simply being.
Five senses arise spontaneously.
The same way that breath arises spontaneously.
The same way that thoughts and emotions and feelings may be arising or not.
I will let them arise if they have to without having to control absolutely anything.
And we simply sit here.
