Okay, amazing, because I've seen a bit of promo around this film, and it's been in cinemas for a couple of weeks, and a lot of the press has been around Ryan Gosling.
You know, he's front and center, he's a main star, People's Sexiest Man Alive.
But, uh, you-- I remember you and I chatting about it, uh, about this film, because you went and saw it, and you were like, "Hey, Priya plays..." I mean, the, the movie name is called Project Hail Mary.
Uh, can you share a little bit of a snippet of what her role is and why it was so important for you to have a chat with her?
Yeah, so, um, the producers, one of, well, one of the producers of, um, Project Hail Mary, um, he's also a South Asian.
His name is skipping my mind but, um, I sort of started looking into him first and thought, you know, are there any other sort of South Asian people involved in the project? 'Cause I think, um, definitely deserves that much more spotlight.
Um, because again, it's all voice acting, so it's all behind the scenes, so you wouldn't really see that much.
Um, and then, yeah, I stumbled across an interview that she did at the red carpet, um, and her name was familiar from Polite Society.
Um, and Priya spoke about this a bit as well, where, um, she spoke about the process of sort of getting that role.
It was just getting a call from her agent saying, "How do you feel about Ryan Gosling?"
And yeah, Polite Society, I did see her in that a couple of years ago, and she really channeled...
I mean, it was about two Brown girls living in the UK, sisters, and navigating their culture and pressures from their family versus career aspirations.
Um, what would you give this, uh, as a rating? You went and saw it with your brother, right?
