When was the last time you told your friends you were too busy to hang out? Well, I hope you're not too busy for today's episode.

I'm sitting down with Dr. Jessica B. Stern, and we are talking how you can handle busyness and burnout in your friendships.

This is Office Hours, and today we're talking about what to do when friendship starts to feel like a chore.

And what's so special about today's conversation is that I get to sit down with a real life friend and colleague of my own.

Someone who I deeply respect, someone who I've known for a number of years, but who believe it or not, I was just finally able to meet her in person a couple of weeks ago.

Dr. Jessica is a licensed clinical psychologist, a faculty member at NYU's Langone Health, and a host of Dr.

She's also the founder of Three Lemons, a firm that helps people and organizations reduce burnout and build sustainable ways of working.

So we met a number of years back, and I've always had a deep respect, as I said, for you and your area of expertise and your work.

We're both really interested in obviously clinical psychology, but also knowledge transfer and translation, which is just a jargon-filled way of saying that we like making evidence-based information accessible and engaging and relatable.

Tell us a little bit about how you do that and how you bring the science of psychology and burnout to people and organizations.
