So, you know, there are a lot of issues that people bring to you.

And you mentioned, you know, affordability and things like that.

Talk to us about your vision now about how you want to address some of the issues.

So let's let's talk about the affordability.

Right.

You know, people talk about the cost of living.

How would you work in the statehouse to try to bring the cost of living down or what ideas? We don't know if they're going to work or not.

but what are your ideas? Right.

We're not saying that you're, you can solve all the problems, but what are some of your ideas?

So, you know, I, I actually, I just had sort of like a forum slash debate with my opponent the other day.

And it was interesting because a lot of what he, and I give him credit for showing up.

Cause a lot of, a lot of folks on his side don't do that.

Right.

But he showed up and we talked and, and he would mention, you know, well, I'm going to work with this specific legislator on this issue.

And I'm going to work with this one on that issue.

And, um, Everyone he's mentioning is a longtime incumbent.

And it's like, hey, the problems we're facing were created by you guys.

We need some new ideas in here.

And so with affordability, when you look at it, we are such a business-friendly state.

And that's fine, right? Okay, we're a business-friendly state.

But you look at our schools.

Our schools are underfunded, have been for years.

And then with SEA1, they became even more underfunded.

And you look at why is that? Well, in an area like mine in Avon, where our primary businesses are logistics centers, it's because these logistics centers were able to write off more of their equipment as property taxes than ever before.

So their depreciation floor dropped.
