My 1st Gig: Lessons from a Life in Politics with Josh Paciorek

Josh Paciorek has worked in the Michigan Governor's office, the White House, and Capitol Hill — and it all started with a job on a 2014 reelection campaign. In this episode, Josh traces his path from campaign staffer to Chief of Staff for Dick DeVos, sharing the lessons that shaped him along the way: why being a "sponge" early on matters more than having it all figured out, and why trusting your gut beats taking everyone's advice. He also opens up about life inside the Vice President's office, working two branches of government, and why he keeps coming back to Michigan. If you're early in your career — or just love a good D.C. story — this one's for you.
