When authorities looked inside the trunk, they found human remains so charred that they looked like they would disintegrate and turn to pieces of ash at any moment.
Who was this and what happened to them? Well, it turned out that the person inside was a 38 year old Barcelona municipal police officer named Pedro Rodriguez.
Who would do something like this and why? Well, someone who kept coming up during investigations was someone that Pedro had trusted completely.
And when police dug deeper into this person, they learned that they had been living multiple lives at the same time, lying and manipulating everyone in their life and that they were getting away with it for a very, very long time.
