Eclipse the Story: Remembering Your Light 🎵 Intro and Outro Song: *Remember* – Sutherland 🦋 Episode Summary This week, Lynette reflects on the symbolism of the recent total solar eclipse and asks…
And I'm reflecting on this week because it has been fascinating.
Everywhere I turned, people were talking about the solar eclipse, the total solar eclipse.
And some were talking about the science of it, the absolute awe and wonder if you were able to really experience it in Europe.
And others were talking about astrology, Some were sharing beautiful reflections about the meaning that it was about really looking at endings, new beginnings and letting go.
And the new moon being in Leo, fire, the year of the fire horse, new beginnings.
So all the things, all these interesting thoughts that were really weaving together.
And whether you follow astrology or not, isn't really the point, but just looking at the sky and seeing the stars and just being reminded of the vastness of it all.
And then seeing like a solar eclipse is awe inspiring.
What a beautiful world we live in.
And As you can hear, something about this eclipse really captured my imagination.
Maybe it's also captured yours.
It reminded me of how life just moves in seasons and that sometimes we are invited to release what no longer serves us.
So this was a total solar eclipse experience.
And the last total solar eclipse of this kind was back in 1999, 27 years ago.
So it got me thinking, what has been eclipsing us all this time? Not in the sky, but inside ourselves.
Here's the beautiful thing about an eclipse.
The sun doesn't disappear.
The light isn't extinguished.
It's simply hidden for a while.
And as I've listened to the women I've coached this week, and as I've reflected on my own journey, And particularly as I prepare to celebrate on Monday, nine years alcohol-free, I have realized something.
Life and the situations that life brings us doesn't eclipse our light.
The thoughts we have about life do.
And if you don't remember anything else from today's episode, please remember this.
The quality of our lives is shaped far more by the thoughts we repeatedly practice than by the circumstances we find ourselves in.
