Well, we're going to move on.

We're going to talk about the overall thoughts of the offense versus Arizona State's defense.

And I know everybody's up in arms.

Oh, my gosh, we only had 255 yards of offense.

What are we going to do? And it wasn't our best game offensively, no doubt about it.

But I want you to remember, we still scored 34 points off that 255 yards of offense.

Now, did the defense help us? Did the special teams help us? Absolutely.

They did a great job and helped our offense tremendously on Saturday.

But we still put 34 points up offensively.

And last time I checked, at the end of the game, they don't count up yards, they count up points.

And so we've had other coaching staffs in the past where we put up 500 yards of offense and we had 21 points.

So, you know, not saying we're where we want to be offensively, but also not ready to jump off a cliff either.

So I would be interested to know.

I know offensive play callers will script.

Some of them 10, some of them 20 plays before the game.

And the reason you do that is because you have done enough research to know how the defense traditionally will line up to different formations to give your quarterback a good option, a good look to make them feel comfortable about what you're going to run.

And I'll be honest, I thought Reed looked very, very nervous early in the game.

He did not trust what he was seeing.

Now that they may have lined up differently than what they thought you were in the second game of the season.

So there wasn't a whole lot of film from this season for them to go off of.

All right.
