Um, I had some buddies over to play Legion, like I mentioned in the last episode, and we played, we played two games of Legion.
Uh, my first game of Legion, so Dan invited one of his friends over who, who plays Legion so that we had an, an even amount of people, six players, so we could all play 1v1s.
And so I played Dan's friend, and Dan's friend is some tournament-going Legion player.
Oh, no.
And I was like, "All right.
I'm gonna get shit on.
That's fine." So I kinda went into it with that expectation.
It actually wasn't that bad.
Um, and you know, I lost, but at least it was a little bit competitive.
And then I got to play, I guess, my buddy Max, and then I had, like, learned about, like-
Ah, yeah
... my list.
And, like, my list has a particularly disgusting alpha strike capability where they can... 'Cause there is no deployment in Legion.
Your first turn is coming onto the board, um, and like moving and stuff.
And so it makes the deployment, like, part of the, the round structure, which is very satisfying, and one of the, one of the cooler things about Legion, I, I would say.
I like that.
And my, my army has this functionality of being able to start out farther and then get a free move before their activation.
And so y- I told my buddy that I can do this, but even so, he didn't, he didn't avoid it entirely, and I have, like, this, you know, disgusting elite-
Do, do, do, do
... just shooting and-
Do, do, do
So I come out and annihilate, like, over, you know, like, 90% of one of his big Mandalorian units, and it's just like, wow.
You know.
Felt a little bad.
But that game went a lot better for me.
