Investing in Hobbies: Magic vs Warhammer

Oh, you d- you doing new, new Star Wars campaign?

Yeah.

So I have a hard time remembering what we discussed about the Star Wars campaign previously.

But since we've, uh, done a podcast, like at least in either my house or your house, we've done the actual first session, um, of our Edge of the Empire Star Wars, Star Wars...

I put Star Wars Unlimited.

It's, that's a card game.

Star Wars the RPG campaign, where I'm a player and Dan's the one operating the story as the dungeon master.

And it's fun.

Um, but I have one gripe to pick with all of my players.

We're playing Edge of the Empire.

Edge of the Empire, it features characters that are, you know, scum and villainy, whatever, hired mercenaries, you know, the, the lowlifes of the Star Wars galaxy.

Mm.

Um-

No squeaky clean paladins in that group.

No.

No, no.

And my character is like a 18-year-old, uh, son of Imperial, uh, like, uh, like workers and officers, and he's defected to find a life of crime, because he wants to see the other side of the galaxy.

He hates his parents, and they're all rich and shit, and he wants to-

Yeah

... experience real life.

Yeah.

That's his vibe.

He wants to slum it for a while.

[laughs]

Yeah, yeah.
