What is something Norfolk currently spends money on that you question whether city government should be paying for at all? The ones that have been brought up recently are like the artwork or the lights that got put up downtown.

So something that the government pays for, city government pays for that maybe shouldn't be.

Right.

Well, those are both good topics.

And the fact that I can't come up with another one that I'm like, hmm.

I know in Ward 2, they really want lights up along, I think, 25th.

So, I mean, it's hard to say no lights versus lights downtown.

I know you are correct.

I assume some of that is city government spending.

Some of it's not.

So, it's like if they got a grant, great.

I will still say that's what, state money then? I mean, if it wouldn't come to us, would it go to another town? That would be unfortunate, right? So again, talk to your representatives, not just city council, if you really don't like that stuff.

And at some point, grants... are wonderful, but you know, the money comes from somewhere.

Um,

I

feel like you guys talked and said, we have to say this together.

We got to take Vance off his heels or something.

So the third, third one today, everybody has called grant money, tax money, which is good.

Oh, good.

That's a good thing to say.

We've had people in the past that just kind of blow willy nilly throw grants.

It's just free money.

It's not,

I mean, and even like, if it's not from the state, it could be from federal.

So, I mean, unless it's, you know.
