Now, this episode airs just one day after the 25th anniversary of September 11th, and Somerset County is, of course, home to Shanksville and the Flight 93 Memorial.
Joining us tonight is Eric Knopfschneider, Director of Public Relations and Community Outreach for Go Laurel Highlands, and someone who knows Somerset County very, very well.
that little town became very very famous nobody had ever heard of it prior to that and then all the sudden an airplane was put down in a field outsider in somerset county outside of shanksville uh... that's where the flight ninety three memorial is it all started with the fence and some flowers and now it's grown into a national monument what does that memorial and that the line monument mean to the people of somerset county
