So, you know, what I'm seeing is that many people are doing brand new training programs and learning nervous system tools, and they know how to breathe, they know how to regulate and calm their bodies down.

So one of the biggest reasons I see for this is that, you know, when we feel safer in our bodies, the emotional experience begin to surface and that can feel quite scary.

So learning how to regulate your nervous system isn't quite the same as learning the tools of what to do once that these emotional experiences or the trauma begins to surface in the body.

So many people tell me, you know, no, I'm going backwards, I'm getting worse, or I'm doing something wrong.

You know, we are here together to help you through that by learning the tools, you know, to understand what are these tools to help, you know, experience and to be present with those emotional experiences in the body without having to get overwhelmed or without shutting down.

We're going to work together on helping all of you regulate your nervous system, befriend the body, build emotional capacity, the kind that you need in order to really heal and transform.

And we're going to be sharing practical somatic tools, emotional processing practices, live demonstrations, and other ways that you can work with whatever comes up in your daily life.

And we're also going to understand a little bit more about the different nervous system states, you know, so you can customize your practices for your specific nervous system state.

So I really think that's one of the places where I believe many people have been missing support.

So just really excited to be collaborating with you and sharing all of this with all of

You know, and you and I talked about this and we're going to be helping the students of the Brain and Body Cafe.

You know, we know one of the biggest challenges in recovery isn't learning more information.

And when we feel stuck and anxious or overwhelmed, our nervous system shifts into a state of threat.
