301: Day 21 of 31 to Thriving: Treat your sales like the restaurant you love

Another great example is if you had seen a brilliant film.

If you went to see a film, and then you were suddenly, like, absolutely loving it.

You thought it was the greatest thing ever.

You put it on your Facebook notifica- uh, your Facebook feed.

You put it on your Instagram story, "Guys, I've just seen this film.

It was so good." You would tell people about it.

This happened with Top Gun when Top Gun came out a few years ago.

Never seen Top Gun, so I don't know what all the hype is about.

Um, I'm not really a film kinda gal.

But you would rave about it.

You'd be like, "Oh my God, how have you not seen it?" Honestly, when Top Gun came out and everyone was like, "How the fuck have you not seen Top Gun?" I'm like, "There's lots of things I haven't seen." Harry Potter, Pirates of, of the Caribbean.

There's loads of things.

I've seen Fast & Furious about a bajillion times, but I just don't really do films.

[laughs] I've got the attention span of a gnat and just don't love sitting down to watch a movie.

I'd rather have a conversation or go for dinner.

Anyway, if you saw a great film, or if you went to an incredible restaurant, or if you went to a great beautician, you would recommend that place.

Think care- carefully about what you would actually say.

You would tell people you had a great experience.

You would tell people they need to go there.

You would tell people they need to see that film.

They need to go to that beautician.

Now let me ask you, how do you talk about your own business? Do you rave about your own business as you would rave about something you enjoy? If the answer is yes, fucking hallelujah, and well done.
