Steven MonterrosoHostWhen you were talking about customer concentration as being one of those factors that you want to think about early on, one of the other things that kind of came to mind for me was being a CEO, a CEO dependency, right? I know that's something I'm thinking of constantly is how do I build a business where it runs on its own without me? If I get hit by a bus, as an example, that all things aren't coming to a screeching halt.

I think that's a very good point because I think having depth of management leadership that can step in.

I mean, that's really important, not just for business continuity, but also for in a sale process where you want to have buyers going to want to see that there's a good bullpen of people who have subject matter expertise in different areas of the firm.

And that, I think, is true whether the buyer is a strategic buyer or whether it's a financial sponsor.

But many times they're investing in companies with a CEO that's looking to transition out.

So there may be somebody internally that can step in or they might bring in someone from outside.

But the depth of management, whether it's a strategic buyer or a financial sponsor, is really important because that is... people are going to be backing management teams
and

they want to know that these are solid folks who can do the job and help continue to drive value.
And I know from my own personal experience as well that previously in my early years, it was all about growth in my eyes.
It was like, hey, if you're growing and then obviously eventually getting to a spot where you're hopefully getting to EBITDA positive or break even.
You know, now when I think two to three years in advance, I'm not just thinking growth and I'm not just thinking, but I'm also thinking what's going to be that next thing that we're going to do that's going to build a premium value.
Like for instance, I was having this conversation this morning with one of my my customer success reps.
