Gracious and loving creator of the sparrow, the lamb, the whale, the bee, the calf, the hen, the pig, and the child, we come before you this morning with humble and awakened hearts.
We gather as people who have heard the cries of creation and who know that love cannot remain passive in the presence of suffering.
We thank you for this climate healers, vegan convergence for every organizer, speaker, volunteer, and participant who has chosen to stand on the side of life,
mercy, and truth.
Creator, we know that the earth is wounded, the waters are polluted, the forests are failing, and the climate is changing.
And your creatures, so many of your precious creatures, are tormented, tortured, abused, commodified, separated from their families, and murdered as though their lives belong to us.
Every creature has a place in the sacred web of life and deserves to live free from human violence, human appetite, and human greed.
