That was the, one of the things that really struck me about the book and what you're trying to do, because, um, you make this observation that this understanding that you had received from people who had experience is not always in our time being effectively passed on to a new generation.
And so I think I was at theological college not to get trained by great theological minds, but actually to, alongside that, to, to encounter students who'd been, um, formed in the early days of New Wine-
And so I was able to get from them firsthand that this is, this is how you do it, this is a model we can embrace.
And of course, that was the great gift that John Wimber brought to the UK that became the genesis of all that happened at HTB, and out working in Alpha, and all that's happened through New Wine since.
... and a practice that is faith-filled, leaves a lot of space for God, but also is healthy, and safe, and theologically robust so it doesn't set up a wrong expectation that then leads to crushing disappointment.
And, um, New Wine at its best has always sought to be a practitioner-led movement-
