Martin Young | No Greater Life

One thing as part of your work that you've produced recently is a book called No Greater Life.

Um, good to hear kinda how did that book come about.

Um, how does it- Seek to connect the Old Testament and the New Testament and our present life in, in Christ

Yeah, that's to do with, um, Spring Harvest.

I've been involved with Spring Harvest for years.

Again, starting off, I was the arty person bringing in artists.

Yeah.

[laughs]

Painters and DJs and, and making the venues look interesting.

That's how I started.

Now I've got a really boring job.

I chair the board of trustees, and it's just governance.

Whatever, so it's a bit dull.

Um-

Just governance, yeah.

[laughs]

Yeah, well, you know, it doesn't have all that pizzazz, whatever.

Other people do that.

Yeah.

It's a themed event, so, uh, all the teaching and everything goes along a particular theme, and we're in the middle of a three-year series.

One was ...

The first one was No Greater Story, looking at our place in God's story.

The one that I was involved in writing the material for, and this book, was about no greater life, so the life of Jesus, modeling our lives as disciples on Jesus.

Yeah.

And the one coming up next year is No Greater Adventure, so that's looking at the mission, Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, ends of the earth, uh, that kind of thing.
