Aug 10, 2026 · 12 min · 8 segments
A bunch of kids find a cave by the sea, mess around with some computers, and get offered a chance to “test” a new giant robot game. That’s the bait. The switch is Bokurano: two towering robots appear…
He claims to be a programmer working on a brand new game, which have a large robot have to defend the earth against 15 alien invasions he persuades the children to test the game and enter a contract 14 of them agree but one of them is killed from entering the contract by her older brother and a moment later they are all mysteriously awakened on the shore believing what happened was just a dream That night, two giant robots appear by the beach.
A small creature calling himself Koyameshi also appears and claims to be the children's guide.
He then teleports them into the black robot with Kokopelli already inside and controlling the black robot in order to defeat the white enemy robot.
During battle, he gives the children a brief tutorial on how to pilot the robot as he destroys the enemy.
Once he has finished, he tells the children that they are on their own now and he sends them back to the beach.
Upon winning the fight, Waku is accidentally knocked into the sea from a ledge on Zerth's chest by Jun.
The second pilot, Masaru Kodama Kodaka, dies unceremoniously after defeating his opponent.
Koyamichi explains to the children that Zerg runs on life force and the cost of every victory would be the life of his pilot.
It is also revealed that Waku fell into the sea after getting knocked by Jun because Zerg has already drained his life force so he was already dead.
Thus, the children must now defend the world and face the many trials and tribulations of doing so, including the fact that ultimately, none of them will get out of this situation alive.
So, in Boca Rana, the children must now pilot the giant robot Zerth one at a time in hopes that they will have what it takes to defeat all of the upcoming enemies, but Cocopelli has left out one very important piece of information, the robot's inner spaceship source, you know? So the original soundtrack is by Yuji Nomi.
Little Bird was the ending theme for the first 12, and Vermillion for the later half, all performed by Chiaki Ishikawa.
