In this episode of **Yorkie Talkies Talk**, I’m joined by Simon Twigge to hear his incredibly powerful story of cancer, recovery and the role walking played throughout it all. After being diagnosed…
Simon TwiggeGuestEmmaHostSo we do that in May.
I'm sure many of you will remember the kind of big May event that we do where we're up there for three days.
So We have done it twice now, um, with, with that charity.
Um, and I've got a very good relationship with the charity.
Um, I think they're absolutely fantastic to work with, um, mainly been Caitlin that I've been dealing with.
Um, and it's just been great really.
And the relationship has grown as well.
So we obviously hosted it again this year.
We are hosting one in a couple of days time, um, as well, which is really brilliant because that will be three we've done this year.
And the event kind of, um, in May, this is just a very rough number.
I do believe it raised over 50,000 pounds.
So, Yorkie Talkies is very proud to kind of be a massive part of that and be the guides on the day and all the other little things that we do in between as well.
So I'd gone for a little bit of a chat with the team over there in Harrogate, which was great.
Actually, I do just want to mention that if anyone has never been to the centre in Harrogate, it's just on the way in if you're coming from York.
And it's just brilliant.
There was a cafe.
There's a massive shop.
I didn't even know this place even existed.
And honestly, it was just really good.
The cafe looked lovely.
I didn't have a chance to go, but I did have a wander around the shop and things like that.
So if anyone is there, it's maybe worth a little visit.
So whilst we were there, I thought it might be good to jump on a podcast with them.
So I thought that the podcast would kind of go online.
So we do that in May.
