Would he be able to... be a part of the supplemental draft, the NFL coming down today, Tuesday, as we're recording this and said, there will not be a supplemental draft.

So I, I think this was a move I think that I anticipated the NFL making just because the gambling allegations with Sorsby were so the NFL looks at this and says, yeah, yeah, we're not going to we're not touching this here.
Yeah, you can see why the NFL would not want to have Brendan Sworesby in the supplemental draft.
As you mentioned, right now we're at the point of the year when there's literally nothing to talk about in the sports world.
This was a gift from the sports talk radio gods, Brendan Sworesby, and this whole supplemental draft.
And for a variety of teams, a half dozen teams, this was going to be a talking point for months.
If I were running the PR department, at the nfl i would say whatever you do do not let brendan soares be into the supplemental draft the only thing people are going to be focusing on is is this guy a gambler who has an addiction and has a problem that's going to then mean the nfl is going to have a gambler who has an addiction and has a problem and what's that going to mean for the nfl going forward so it makes a whole tremendous amount more sense if you're the NFL to say, we're not allowing you into the supplemental draft.
And then a year from now in a draft that the headliner is going to be Arch Manning and you're going to have Dante Moore and, you know, probably eight to 10 legitimate first to second round quarterbacks in what could be a historic or just a very meaningful draft class for that position.
If he just slides in there somewhere on day two or maybe early day three, And it's a year from now when people maybe have forgotten all the details.
And so if I'm the NFL and if they really do have the soul power to make this decision, I would be trying everything in my power to kick the can down the road as well.

Yeah, and also, too, diving into some of the details a little bit, because they were a little bit interesting, things that we obviously didn't know.

Sorsby was the only player that applied to the supplemental draft, so he was going to be the only one.

I think that probably made the decision a lot easier for the NFL on top of everything else, that it's just like, hey, yeah, we could just say no to this one guy.
