The Yarniacs Episode 376: Knitting Inspiration

What have you been stocking?

Well, I am stocking three very different things this week.

Even though it's warm, I am stocking one pullover sweater called the Holy Chic Sweater by Bettina Venco.

And I stocked another of this designer's patterns recently.

So this one popped up in my Ravelry pattern highlights, I guess because I had recently looked at one of their designs.

I'm not sure why else it did, but I immediately was drawn to this sweater, because the stitch pattern is similar To a design that Gail was stalking recently, the Endlessly Pullover.

Both of them have, well, like the name implies, a holey stitch pattern.

[laughs]

Right, like mesh.

H-O-L-E-Y.

Mm-hmm.

So the holey stitch pattern is throughout the entire s- pullover.

Very nice.

This one has an interesting V pattern on the drop shoulder sleeve that I kind of think elevates the design in a nice way.

I don't care for the straight sleeves, but sleeves, that can be changed.

The design comes in six sizes, 98 centimeters to 152 centimeters, or 38 inches to 60 inches.

And let's go back to the drop shoulder.

So it is drop shoulder design, but above where you kind of atta- not attach, where you would knit down from the sleeve, it's got, like, this inverted V on the sh- sleeve cap-

Right

...

I guess you would say.

And it's really interesting, very pretty, and it's different.

I've never seen anything like that.

It reminds me of the KP pullover construction.

A little bit, yeah.
