So I had to look through patterns that I have been looking at [laughs] on Ravelry to find out what I have been stocking.
It's called Turn Around the Corner, and I believe it is the attempt to make a hand-knit version of a classic tweed Chanel jacket.
They even suggest holding several strands of yarn together to achieve that tweed-ish look that you see in the classic Chanel jackets.
So the name Turn Around the Corner, I guess, comes from the fact that there's little miters on the corners.
So when I say corner, think of, like, the bottom of the sweater, and then there's a corner, and this border that goes around the bottom of the sweater turns the corner with a little mitered edge, and then goes up the two fronts of the cardigan, turns again to go around the corner of the collar or the neck band.
