So as a publisher, we see a lot of first-time authors come in, they write a book, they think they're going to publish the book, get it on Amazon, maybe do a few social media posts, hey, everyone, buy my book, and that's going to bring in the success.

And so Angie and Gary, I'd like you all to both – Kind of just talk about how should somebody get started on, you know, earning good money on their book or books?

Well, if you're still planning to write a book or if you're in the process of writing a book, you need to ask yourself why you're writing this book.

What experience are you planning to give your readers and how can you deliver on that promise over and over with all of your books, which Gary does? And you need to give your readers the best possible experience because when somebody buys your book, they're devoting their money, time, and energy into your book.

And the better you serve your readers with what they want and need, and this includes fiction too, the more sales you're going to have and the more good reviews you're going to have.

Yeah, I mean, you know, I think what's it? For the biggest thing for me that I've learned, and again, I wrote my first book.

But when I did, I realized over time, what I've learned over time is that a lot of people write a book and then they write the book and then they say, well, now I wrote this book and now I need people to find it and to read it and to buy it.

And I think what I did, and I did it, to be honest with you, unintentionally, I created my community on social media, mostly because I was trying to help people.

And so my book, you know, I already had the readers before the book was even published because I had this, I had built this community and, you know, back then I didn't have, you know, half a million followers, but I, but I, but I had maybe, you know, anywhere between five and 10,000 people.

And so I think it's important to remember that you're writing this book for a reason and who is your target audience and try to build that audience even before the book is out, if that makes sense.
