Wonderfully Sober With Noreen

Noreen has been sober since August 2022. Hers is a remarkable tale. Now her mid-60s and a grandmother, this is not the first time she has stopped drinking for an extended period - having taken a 6+ year hiatus prior to (and for much of) the pandemic. Then, out of the blue, she had the urge to have a glass of wine, which quickly saw old habits return. Thankfully, in a moment of dark, drunken clarity, she found the strength to give up for a second time. Her husband, Chris, is confident she's cracked it for good - which we discover because he joins Nina for a lovely chat at the end too!
