This archival installment adapts Alexandre Dumas père’s 1849 Reign-of-Terror story “Solange.” In Paris in 1793, physician Dr. René Ledieu becomes consumed by a macabre question raised by the guillotine. When the young Solange is swept into revolutionary justice, Ledieu’s attempt to protect her and her father leads into the tightening dangers of the Terror. The radio adaptation was written by series creator Alonzo Deen Cole.
