I've also just started having a look at, like having a look into the market myself.

I'm on realestate.com looking at different properties, different prices, because I'm not 100% sure what I can buy up to.

And so you said you started saving, but have you started saving differently because now you have a goal to buy a property?

I've actually, yeah, I've kind of opened up another savings account that I cannot touch because, you know, I did.

I don't know how much limitations I'll have once I've got a mortgage and what that means and I guess what the next step is and what the future will look like with that mortgage.

So, so it is a big process and I guess saving money and, you know, understanding what properties are available is one part, but the mortgage and expenses that come with owning a property.

So if you are buying it for investment, which is something you're considering, then you do have higher stamp duty.

So let's just say for an example, the repayment is a thousand dollars a week and you're receiving eight hundred dollars a week in rent so obviously it's on you to be able to pay the difference so saving now is one part but after buying a property you've still got to live and then cover the shortfalls so you need to I would think start planning about what does it look like after the property settles to make sure that you're still saving

you buy a property, you did say about borrowing capacity and, you know, we've researched some of that, but things have changed now with investors.
