How much do you remember about your limelight days? Is it hazy?
Yeah, hazy, because I guess that was... how we got through it all but um no loads of fond memories and i still see loads of people from the limelight now like they they come up and i've kind of unashamedly borrowed so much from that place like and brought it to the marquess you know i mean like that that was such an institution and i don't think i've ever been to a place quite like it like that and with that i mean like That whole town needed that place.
It was kind of the heartbeat of Crew and really sad that they don't have that no more.
But, like, do you know what I mean? Because you kind of speak about it all the time.
when I was working, Dr. Feelgood played there, but I mean, yeah, like, Lee and Wilco weren't with them then, but like, it was the bones of it, I guess, but, yeah, and I saw, I bloody, I was there today and I missed him, but Arthur Lee and Love played there.
and I was like and then he died a couple years later so I missed that boat and I adore that band but like the tribute stuff was insane it was like it was so much good quality of it and do you ever remember Limehouse Lizzie do you come across them anymore are they still going
yeah they're still going that was I can't remember if we saw them at the limelight but that was like there's a BBC documentary about the limelight I don't know if
